Welcome to Hyde Heath Village Hall
Special time-sensitive notice Spring 2026!!
Helpers urgently needed for the Village Fete on
Saturday 9th May!
If you can offer an hour or two to help in advance or
especially on the day, please email the fete
committee at hydeheathvillagefete@gmail.com
The fete is our main fundraiser upon which we rely for the considerable ongoing maintenance and running costs of the hall. We are extremely grateful to the fete committee, and know they appreciate every offer of help and support. Thank you in advance!
Hyde Heath Village Hall sits at the heart of the Hyde Heath Community. It is utilised by those in the village, whether it be the local theatre company, the W.I., sewing groups, yoga, dance groups, keep fit classes, birthday parties or the committee's events.
The hall is a highly valued resource that is accessible to all. It is managed by a small committee of volunteers who focus their efforts on ensuring that the hall is maintained for all to enjoy.
The Village Hall Committee have fundraising events that include our main one which is the village fete, which is held each May, the 200 Club, an annual autumn quiz, and sometimes other entertainment during the year. There's a wonderful carol celebration every Christmas eve. The ‘leaving collection’ is given to a nominated charity.
The committee work through a programme of improvements to ensure the hall is available for future generations to enjoy. Occasionally there are one off expensive more long-term works needed.
If you would like to support the Village Hall in any way, please email the secretary at secretary@hydeheathvillagehall.co.uk.
Whether that's offering an hour and half once a month to attend the committee meetings, joining the email list of possible one-off events helpers, or giving financially via the 200 Club etc., it's a great way to give back to this wonderful village, get to know people and would be extremely appreciated!
